I have been an ardent fan of “Devon Ke Dev Mahadev” ever since i saw the first Episode on Life Ok Channel. I tried to catch each and every episode from time to time but after Mahadev & Parvati Mata’s wedding and they have kids, I just lost track…

Until recently I started looking for all the episodes once again, it is a must have item if you love collecting digital media. Finding HD links and downloading all the episodes was a not-so-simple process and knowing how beneficial it can be watching and learning from the greatness of Mahadev, I thought of finding an easy way to track them and collate them. There are links available all over the internet for the episodes, I have updated my Java program to dynamically track these URL’s and allow you to access them 😉

You will need couple of tools to run this Java program:

  1. 7Zip – Please see the video below to see how you can download and install it. Click here to download the software.
  2. Java – Please see the video below to see how you can download and install it. Click here to download the software.

Process is pretty straight forward but if you need some guidance then you can use the steps below:

Step 1: Download skdmrk-df.zip file (Right Click on the Link and select “Save Link As”) from here or above. Once downloaded extract it to get single skdmrk-df.jar file.

Step 2: Open CMD window to run the Java program. Enter DOS prompt from START MENU or in Windows (SHIFT + Right Mouse Click) (see snapshot below), if on Linux/Mac (CTRL + ALT + T) then start Terminal.

Step 3: Once in the CMD window, execute the program based on the instructions as below:

  d : Download DKDM
  m : Download Mahabharat
 s1 : Download from Server # 1
 s2 : Download from Server # 2
  x : Download Episode # x
x-y : Download Episodes from x to y 

Usage Example:

Download all DKDM Episodes from Server # 1: java -jar df.jar d s1
Download all DKDM Episodes from Server # 2: java -jar df.jar d s2 
Download DKDM Episode # 10 from Server # 1: java -jar df.jar d s1 10
Download DKDM Episode # 10 from Server # 2: java -jar df.jar d s2 10
Download DKDM Episodes # 10 till 100 from Server # 1: java -jar df.jar d s1 10-100

Below you see the output if you don't specify any parameters:

Also, you may see the video below for step-by-step guide. Below command will download all episodes for DKDM from Server # 1. If you get an error, please try couple of times before switching to Server # 2.

If you see any downloaded file with extension as .Z01, .Z02 and so on, then don’t worry, look for a file with same name but ending with .zip extension. Right click on it and select “Extract Here”, as below:

Download Size ~ 135+ GB

      Hi Banty,

      The URL’s will not work as it is. You will have to use the ZIP file to download the episodes. Follow the instructions on the page and let me know if you face any issues!

    java -jar C:\Users\akshay\Downloads\DKDM\df.jar C:\Users\akshay\Downloads\DKDM\DKDM.txt i enter this command and i got following error message.

    Error Message- ‘java’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

    HI, My name is Nachi. I am getting problem with particular episode number 295. it is not downloading. please help. below is the error details.

    Hi Akhil,

    When I am trying to download the episodes using java -jar command. It is showing me ERROR like
    “java is not found as internal or external command”

    Please help.
    As i have episodes from 1 to 325. I want rest of the episodes. kindly help with details and the steps from the scratch. It will be very much helpfull for me.

    I am vikas. I am a big fan of this show. I want the videos of this show. I have episode 1 to 325. But now i want the rest. I have tried your steps. But java cmd was not working. Then i installed java8. Now it is showing heaps of error.. please help me to download these episode in easy way. As i am not familiar to these commands. Please help ….

      Hi Vikas,

      Share the following information with me:
      1. Where did you download the ZIP file. Once extracted where do you have the df.jar file located?
      2. What command are you executing to start the download?

    getting error on enter full path.

    Enter full PATH for .TXT File
    Enter full PATH for DOWNLOAD Directory

    Please assit, further

    Obviously many people like the serial. Why not put to gether aDVD that will be easy to buy and play anytime. Has anyone attempted. Now the DVDs are fading maybe on a memory stick or through some server? Especially the Vivah section is very useful for those getting married, a must see before engagement for an ideal marriage.
    any comments?

    Hi Akhil,

    I downloaded the zip folder df_DKDM_v2.0.zip, and extracted it to download folder and I got df.jar and DKDM.txt file. Later, I ran the command
    java -jar df DKDM.txt, but I m getting ERROR: Unable to access jar file df.
    Again I tried with java -jar df.jar DKDM then too its throwing the same error.
    Can u help me out.

      1. Full path of the folder where you can see the df.jar file and DKDM.TXT file?
      2. From which folder are you trying to execute the command?
      3. What command are you trying to execute?

        These are the answers to ur question on my post:

        1. Folder where df.jar file is present
        C:\Users\nikhlya\Downloads\df.jar

        2. On command line my location from where i m executing the command is:
        C:\Users\nikhlya>java -jar df DKDM

        3. Command used:
        Even i tried on location
        C:\Users\nikhlya\Downloads>java -jar df DKDM

        Actually I m a PHP developer. U can even tell me technically.

      Hi Manuj,

      Replace the “DOWNLOAD-FOLDER” with the complete path of the folder where you want to download the files i.e. If you want to download the files to folder D:\movies\DKDM\Download then use command:
      D:\movies\DKDM>java -jar df.jar DKDM.TXT D:\movies\DKDM\Download 216

    The download worked up until 80 files and now stopped saying ERROR DOWNLOADING FILE…

    I used D:\java -jar D\df.jar D:\dkdm.txt D:\dkdm which worked only for 80 episodes. Please advise.

      You need to download the zip file, extract the file and then execute the extracted JAR file. Follow the instructions on the site, if you face any issues then drop me a line.

    I had downloaded abt 300 episodes in the earlier method, and now when i started the same today got error, and after checking this website got to know that the old method is not working….
    sir i had extracted the df.jar and dkdm.txt in C:\Mahadev
    can u please help me with what to type in command window because when i type this
    java -jar df.jar dkdm.txt 139 for episode 139 in C:\Mahadev>
    it says

    ERROR DOWNLOAD FILE…

    again i m sending wt is shown and typed in command window

    Hi Buddy,
    I think I have gotten it right and it asks me to ‘Either just enter Episode No i.e. 10 or Episode Range i.e. 10-20 and so when I enter 1-820 to download all episodes it says ‘1-820’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

    Any idea what I am doing wrong?

      Hi YDR05,

      If you have to download all episodes, then dont enter the range as it will by default download all episodes. In case you want to download the range then range goes in the end of the whole command. If you are not able to get it right, share the command you are trying to execute with me.

      Hi Mayur,

      Please make sure you are entering full path for the TXT file and the Download Folder. If you still see issues, share the command you are trying to execute with me.
