Mahabharat (Star Plus) – All Episodes [1 – 267]

We have been watching the latest rendition of Mahabharat by Start Plus as well, and it’s pretty impressive to say the least. Finding HD links and downloading all the episodes was a not-so-simple process and knowing how beneficial it can be watching and learning from Mahabharat too, I thought of finding an easy way to track them and collate them. There are links available all over the internet for the episodes, I have updated my Java program to dynamically track these URL’s and allow you to access them 😉

You will need couple of tools to run this Java program:

  1. 7Zip – Please see the video below to see how you can download and install it. Click here to download the software.
  2. Java – Please see the video below to see how you can download and install it. Click here to download the software.

Process is pretty straight forward but if you need some guidance then you can use the steps below:

Step 1: Download skdmrk-df.zip file (Right Click on the Link and select “Save Link As”) from here or above. Once downloaded extract it to get single skdmrk-df.jar file.

Step 2: Open CMD window to run the Java program. Enter DOS prompt from START MENU or in Windows (SHIFT + Right Mouse Click) (see snapshot below), if on Linux/Mac (CTRL + ALT + T) then start Terminal.

Step 3: Once in the CMD window, execute the program based on the instructions as below:

Please see instructions as below:

  d : Download DKDM
  m : Download Mahabharat
 s1 : Download from Server # 1
 s2 : Download from Server # 2
  x : Download Episode # x
x-y : Download Episodes from x to y 

Usage Example:

Download all MB Episodes from Server # 1: java -jar df.jar m s1
Download all MB Episodes from Server # 2: java -jar df.jar m s2 
Download MB Episode # 10 from Server # 1: java -jar df.jar m s1 10
Download MB Episode # 10 from Server # 2: java -jar df.jar m s2 10
Download MB Episodes # 10 till 100 from Server # 1: java -jar df.jar m s1 10-100

Below you see the output if you don't specify any parameters:


Below command will download all episodes for MB from Server # 1. If you get an error, please try couple of times before switching to Server # 2.

Also, you may see the video below for step-by-step guide.

If you see any downloaded file with extension as .Z01, .Z02 and so on, then don’t worry, look for a file with same name but ending with .zip extension. Right click on it and select “Extract Here”, as below:

    Hello,

    I cannot download the files manually. When I try to download it with steps shown, it gives me error saying no file to download. Server replied HTTP code 403. Please let me know from where I can download it?

    Hi Akhil… i have downloaded 200 episodes before manual links were removed. Can i download rest of the episodes with the method you said above ? if yes pls tell me how i can do it… Please help me sir… I want to have all episodes on my Hard drive for ever….

      Good question. It is illegal to host and distribute copyrighted material. I have not hosted these videos and am only giving you a tool to download from links available on the internet, and for the same reason I had to remove the manual link from my site.

    I tried a lot to download all episodes as instructed by you, but failed to download, then I started to download manually and I downloaded 60 episodes, but manual links have been removed. Now kindly suggest me that how can I get all episodes

    I am going through the same as you directed but all time a message come to command prompt screen as below

    ‘java’ is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

    i downloaded 1 to 235 episode(mahabharat) manually by using the single single links of every episode.
    but nowi am not able to open that link it is showing some error mentioned below.

    is it server problem or what but its not because of bad internet connection ….as i am trying from last 10-15 days .i am not able to openthis link….please reply yar….i need next episode….we are just dying for watching the remaining episodes…please reply…

      Hi Sweety,

      If you download the new df_MAHABHARAT.zip, you should be able to download all episodes but since you have already downloaded 235, i will modify the file so that you can just download the serials you want. Will update and revert.

      Hi Kumar,

      Go to the folder where you have the df.jar file. Then press SHIFT key and mouse right click and select “Open Command Window Here” and then in the command just gives the file names and not the complete path and it will work.

    Hey! Just wondering if you can repost the episodes for just one hour or two so that I can download them because I am not able to download any the episodes since it says it is not found. Please upload them or help me with my problem. If you are unable to do either please redirect me to a website that will allow me to view the episodes. I am also prepared to buy any dvd’s if you are planning on selling them. Thx for the help!

      Hi Pranati,

      While i am modifying the code to let the user only download the episode they want but as of now download the new df_MAHABHARAT.zip file and you will be able to download all the episodes 🙂

    Hey Akhil, why did star plus block all the URL’s of Mahabharata… why don’t they release the DVDs of Mahabharata??? All the episodes are available on hot star app, but we can’t download it from there…

      They do not have license to stream episodes in USA, thats the reason they have blocked the URL’s. Download the new df_MAHABHARAT.zip file and you will be able to download all the episodes 🙂

      Sir. There is only 1 question. Why Star Plus don’t want us to download the episodes of Mahabharat? At first it removed all the episodes from Youtube and now it gave you the notice for removal of episodes …. It is not fine. We have the right to watch or download this religious series… Star Plus don’t even launching the Dvd pack of Mahabharat also..???????
